As per the latest information by the NDA (National Defence Academy), the Academy has proposed to take the same number of women again. According to last year(2021) only 19 womens were selected. As per the data of this year, 8009 candidates qualified for the Service Selection Board test (1,002 womens and 7,007 men). NDA would take 400 candidates in NDA-II, 2021. Army- 208 candidates selected by the ARMY in which only 10 candidates are women. Navy- 42 Candidates selected by the Navy in which only 3 candidates are women. IAF- 120 candidates selected by the IAF in which only 6 candidates are women. In total only 19 womens were selected by the NDA, which is the same as the previous year.
