The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released notification for the Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) on August 17, 2021, on the official website @recruitment.nta.nic.in and allahabadhighcourt.in. The total number of vacancies released by the court is 396, of which 46 vacancies are for the Samiksha Adhikari and 150 vacancies are for Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari.
The online application process has been started for the RO & ARO posts, along with the release of the notification. Candidates can apply for RO & ARO vacancy, 2021 from August 17 to September 16, 2021.

Note: Candidates belonging to the horizontal category shall have to pay the examination fee according to the general category.
PROCEDURE TO APPLY ONLINE
- Candidates have to apply “ONLINE” only for the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad Recruitment Exam for the post of Review Officer or Assistant Review Officer or both, by accessing the website:
- National Testing Agency or www.allahabadhighcourt.in
- Click on the highlighted link to apply for the post of RO/ARO.
- Fill in the required details and then submit.
- Proceed to pay the examination fee through Net Banking, Debit Card, Wallet, etc.
- After you have filled the examination fee, check the details you have filled and click on the Final Submit Button.
- Take a printout or download the soft copy of your detailed Application form for your future reference.

Upper Age Relaxation:

Preferential Qualification
As per Rule 26 of The Allahabad High Court Officers and Staff (Conditions of Service and Conduct) Rules, 1976, a candidate: –
(i) Who has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years
Or
(ii) Who has obtained a ‘B’ Certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) shall, other thing being equal be given preference, in the matter of direct recruitment to the Establishment.
Marital Status
As per Rule 28 of The Allahabad High Court Officers and Staff (Conditions of Service and Conduct) Rules, 1976, a male candidate who has more than one wife living or a female candidate who has married a person already having a wife living shall not be eligible for recruitment to the Establishment.
Provided that Hon’ble The Chief Justice may if satisfied that there are any special grounds for doing so, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.
Physical Fitness
The candidate should be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect, likely to interfere with the efficient performance of his/her official duties.
A candidate shall be required to produce a:
- Medical Certificate of Physical Fitness from CMO.
- And in absence thereof,
- Concerned Authority equivalent thereto as decided by The Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Allahabad.

Note:
- The Part-I and Part-II Examination shall be conducted simultaneously in a SINGLE SHIFT with a GAP OF 15 MINUTES.
- It is mandatory for the candidates to appear in all the parts of the Examination.
- For the post of Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO), the question paper of Part-I shall be both in English and Hindi languages.
- For the post of Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO), Part-II i.e. the Computer Knowledge Test, the Text shall be provided on the computer in English only.
- For the post of Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO), no Interview shall be held for selection.

MARKING SCHEME
Part – I
- Each correct answer shall carry one (01) Mark.
- There is no negative marking.
- No marks will be given for questions un-answered/un-attempted/marked for review.
Part – II
- Marks to be deducted on each mistake (error)
[Value of mistake (error): 01 Mistake (Error) = 0.1 marks]
- Left-out words and spelling mistakes (errors) will be treated as full mistake (error).
- Typing of Letters, Words, Characters, Symbols or anything other than the contents of passage as asked in question paper shall be treated as full mistake (error).
- Words typed beyond the prescribed words limit shall be deleted/ignored.
The evaluated copy must indicate:
- No. of mistakes (errors) made by the candidate.
- Total Marks awarded
Final merit list:
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by candidates in Part- I and Part – II of the examination.
